This is a plain-language summary of how we handle information, written to be read rather than survived. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace the terms of a signed engagement agreement.
01
Who this covers
This notice is published by Stagg Business Solutions Inc., a Utah corporation. It covers this website and any enquiry you send through it, by email, or by phone.
If you go on to engage us for paid work, the written engagement agreement governs anything we process on your behalf — your customers' data on a platform we build for you is yours, not ours, and it is handled under that agreement rather than this page. Where the two differ, the agreement wins.
02
What the site collects
From the enquiry form
- Your name and the business you are writing on behalf of.
- An email address, and a phone number if you choose to give one — the phone field is optional and the form works without it.
- Your message, plus the package and product selections you made in the scope builder, so we can read the enquiry in context.
That is the whole form. There is no account to create, no password, no profile, and no tracking identifier attached to what you send.
If you type your email address into a form and then leave without sending it, that address is recorded on its own — see Addresses typed but not sent.
From your browser
- Server logs — the connecting IP address, the page requested, the response status and the time. They exist to spot abuse and diagnose faults.
- Nothing else. The site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to your browser's local storage — see Cookies.
What it never collects
- No advertising or behavioural trackers. No analytics product, no pixels, no session replay, no heatmaps, no fingerprinting.
- No purchased or broker-enriched data. We know about you only what you told us.
03
Why we collect it
- To read your enquiry and reply to it — normally within 24 hours, Mountain Time.
- To scope the work, if there is a fit, and to deliver work we have been retained to do.
- To keep our own infrastructure available and free of abuse.
- To meet obligations the law places on us.
There is no fifth reason. We do not build a marketing list out of enquiries, and the only email you will get from us is a reply to something you sent first or a message tied to live work.
04
What we keep
When you send us a form, we keep what you typed into it — your name, email address, phone number and business name if you gave them, and your message — along with the date you sent it. It is held in a database on our own hardware in Utah, not with a third-party CRM provider.
We keep it so we can answer you, and so we remember the conversation if you come back to us later. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to profile you.
The same enquiry is also delivered to us as email, and you get a confirmation of it by return. So it lives in our mailbox too, read by the person who would do the work.
05
Addresses typed but not sent
If you type your email address into one of our forms and then leave without sending it, that address is recorded. We do this so we can tell how many people start a conversation and change their mind.
We will not email you, call you, or contact you in any way about it. It is held apart from the people who did get in touch, and it is deleted automatically after 90 days unless you come back and actually send the form.
06
Who else sees it
Nobody buys it. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your information for anyone else's marketing, and we never have.
A short list of suppliers necessarily touch it, because they are how the site runs. Each is used for one specific job:
- Resend — delivers the enquiry to us and the confirmation to you. It handles the message contents in transit as our email provider.
- Cloudflare — sits in front of the site as its content-delivery and security layer, so it sees the request and the connecting IP address before we do.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces this page is set in. Your browser fetches them directly, so the request reaches Google. See Cookies.
The site itself runs on hardware we operate rather than on a shared third-party platform. Beyond the three above, no other service receives what you send us. We would also disclose information if the law compelled us to — and we would tell you, unless we were prohibited from doing so.
07
How long we keep it
- Messages you actually sent us — kept until you ask us to remove them.
- Addresses typed but never sent — deleted after 90 days, automatically.
- Server logs — kept while they rotate, which is a matter of weeks rather than months. They record an IP address, a user-agent string, the page asked for, the response, and the time. We read them to find abuse and to work out why something broke, and for nothing else.
- Engagement records — kept for the life of the engagement plus the period that tax and professional record-keeping rules require of us. In practice that is usually seven years in the United States.
Ask us to delete anything we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will do it and confirm when it is done.
08
What you can ask for
Whatever the law where you live says about your data, this is what we will do on request. You do not need to cite a statute, use a particular form of words, or explain why.
- Tell you what we hold — a copy of the enquiry and correspondence we have from you.
- Correct it — if we have something wrong.
- Delete it — remove the enquiry and the thread it belongs to, unless we are legally required to keep a record.
- Send it back to you — in a form you can actually open.
Asking will never affect work we are doing for you, or your chances of being quoted.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with roughly when you wrote to us and the address you wrote from. We reply within 24 hours, Mountain Time, and acknowledge within five working days and complete deletion requests within 30 days — usually far sooner. You will get confirmation when it is done.
09
Keeping it safe
Traffic to and from this site is encrypted in transit. What you send is held on hardware we run ourselves in Utah and is read by the people who need to read it. The public website can write a new enquiry into that database but cannot read what is already in it, so a break-in on the public side cannot hand over the list of everyone who has written to us.
No website can honestly promise perfect security. What we can promise is that if something goes wrong with information you gave us, we will tell you plainly and quickly rather than quietly.
10
Children
This site and the services described on it are aimed at businesses and public bodies. They are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we find that we have, we delete it.
11
If this changes
If we change how any of this works, we update the date at the top of the page. If the change is material — a new supplier that sees your data, or anything that would surprise a reasonable reader — we will say so on the page rather than hope you re-read it, and we will tell anyone we have live work with.
